This recording i did to a short film, it is a miks of several microphones in motor biheind the car and near the wheel. I used dpa dpa lavalier mkh 406 schoeps cmc 5 and mkh 60.

Some old v8 engined cars in a parade, idling and occasionally revving. They have open headers, meaning they have no mufflers and either no or very small exhaust pipes, therefore they're loud and "burbly"! there is some chatter from people standing on the parade route as well. It was raining one night so i used a sony px720 digital voice recorder to catch some hopefully cool atmospheric type sounds. I placed the recorder next to my apartment window and stepped away for a few minutes. My window is situated right next to a rain-gutter so you hear the rain hitting the pavement along with the rain flowing down the gutter. You also hear four different cars drive by during the recording. Well that's about it hopefully these sounds are of some use to people.

Japanese traffic in the summer: passing cars and tracks and some motorcycles, cicadas, recorded with iphone, nearby crossroad of the six-lane road and a large park in tokyo. First 40 seconds is crossing the six-lane road. From 54 seconds cars in the six lanes start to come toward me and pass by. At the end of the audio, the signal turns to red again. Pedestrians cannot cross this road.
